Ukraine has exported nearly nine million tons of grain in current marketing year

In the current marketing year, Ukraine has already exported almost 9 million tons of grain. The press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported this.

As reported, since the beginning of the new marketing year (2023/2024), Ukraine has exported 8.72 million tons of cereals and legumes.

In this marketing year, which started on July 7, Ukraine has already exported:

  • 4.4 million tons of wheat,
  • 669 thousand tons of barley,
  • 3.53 million tons of corn.

During the same period of the last marketing year, the Ukrainian export of grains and legumes was 3.62 million tons higher and amounted to 12.34 million tons.

At that time, Ukraine exported 4.68 million tons of wheat, 1.05 million tons of barley, and 6.6 million tons of corn.

In October 2023, Ukrainian exports amounted to:

  • 1.968 million tons of cereals and legumes compared to 3.6 million tons last year.

In addition, since July, Ukraine exported 41.8 thousand tons of flour, against 34.9 thousand tons last year.

It should be noted that in the 2022/2023 marketing year (from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023), Ukraine exported 48.99 million tons of grain and leguminous crops.
