June 3, 2020 will be the last day of operation of the Uber Eats food delivery service. This was reported to partners and users of the service through an official newsletter from the company.
Closing the service will not affect the company’s ridesharing application: Uber will continue to operate in Ukraine.
According to the information that the company provided to media, the decision to terminate the service in our country was made based on the business performance indicators of Uber Eats in the food delivery market. “As a global player, we must reasonably assess the relevance of the product to the market and how we distribute resources globally,” the company’s commentary reads.
