German company MC-Bauchemie to invest $1.6 million in building materials plant near Kyiv

The German company MC-Bauchemie plans to invest in expanding the production of dry building mixes in Berezan, Kyiv Oblast, said Artem Pryymachenko, director of MC-Bauchemie Ukraine.

The estimated investment will amount to 1.5 million euros ($1.6 million). MC-Bauchemie will invest its own funds in the project, according to Pryymachenko.

“We intend to build a new line for special building materials, such as various polymer-cement mixtures for structural concrete repair, toppings for industrial floors, waterproofing materials, and high-performance tile adhesives,” he said.

“We are currently in the process of obtaining a guarantee from international organizations for military risks. We are considering options – the German government or MIGA (Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency -ed.) from the World Bank” he said.

The new line in Berezan could be launched at the end of 2025.

MC-Bauchemie Group was founded in 1961 and is one of the leading international manufacturers of construction chemicals and technologies. It is represented in more than 50 countries.
