Fashion giant H&M opens new two-story store in Kyiv

Clothing brand H&M opened a new store in Kyiv covering two entire stories, at the Blockbuster Mall on May 10. This is already the seventh store of the brand in the capital.

The store in Blockbuster Mall will feature a wide selection of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, as well as the H&M MAMA line for mothers, H&M said in a press release. The new clothing collection includes summer items including dresses, shirts, suits, tops, denim, as well as swimwear, and accessories.

The new H&M store is located on two floors of Blockbuster Mall and occupies a total area of about 2,400 square meters. The interior is made in what H&M calls a new design concept, with modern elements that ensure the functionality of the space and create a comfortable atmosphere for shopping.

H&M resumed operations in Ukraine, opening two stores in Kyiv – in Lavina Mall and Respublika Park in November 2023. In the coming weeks, the rest of the stores in Kyiv, including SkyMall and Dream, will gradually resume operations.

It was also previously reported that national low-cost supermarket chain ATB plans to open 60 new stores in 2024.

Silpo, a more upscale supermarket franchise, also opened four new themed stores across the country.

Meanwhile, French hypermarket chain Auchan closed down two of its locations, according to reports on January 16.
