Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov has been recognized among the world’s wealthiest individuals, according to Bloomberg’s latest report on May 1.
French mogul Bernard Arnault, with a major stake in luxury giant LVMH, tops the Bloomberg Billionaires Index with a net worth of $215 billion, reflecting a $7 billion increase since the beginning of 2024.
In second place is Amazon’s founder and former CEO, Jeff Bezos, estimated to have a wealth of $198 billion. Bezos has witnessed a $20.8 billion increase in wealth since the start of 2024.
Securing the third spot is Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, with a fortune of $194 billion.
The only Ukrainian listed is Rinat Akhmetov, ranked 438th with a wealth of $6.34 billion, up $499 million since the beginning of 2024.
