Western-style robotic systems for demining will be manufactured in Ukraine. The press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported this.
The department notes that it has signed the relevant Memoranda with the following:
- the Croatian corporation “DOK-ING d.o.o.”,
- the Danish manufacturer HYDREMA.
In particular, the Ukrainian business will produce equipment components for Hydrema, which will be supplied to the domestic market and exported to other countries.
Localization of the production of demining machines will allow:
- promptly solve the issue of current service,
- repair of equipment,
- quick supply of necessary components.
And this will contribute to solving one of today’s key tasks:
- demining the territory of Ukraine,
- return the land to economic exploitation.
“Ukraine will become a leading platform for producing and testing the latest demining equipment. And we have significant professional and technical potential to achieve success in this area,” the message emphasized.
