The Ukrainian government has simplified rules for importing civil and dual-use drones, removing requirements for additional documents and certificates – including end-user warranty letters – Ukraine’s Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said in a Facebook post on Jan. 3.
According to the minister, all the necessary paperwork can now be performed at customs, by submitting a corresponding declaration.
“The problem of additional documentation that was required from volunteers when importing drones has been resolved,” said Svyrydenko.
“No additional documents are required for the import of civilian drones as humanitarian aid, including letters of guarantee. Thanks to these changes, the rules for importing humanitarian aid under martial law become clearer and simpler.”
