Ukraine has launched a comprehensive database covering advertising markets in other countries, encompassing over 15 nations, the All-Ukrainian Advertising Association announced on Aug. 22.
The All-Ukrainian Advertising Association and the advertising-communications conglomerate NCG have collaborated to create this unified database, named “Foreign Markets Access.” Its purpose is to bolster the Ukrainian advertising and communications market by facilitating the expansion of advertising businesses into new countries and foreign markets.
“This initiative is aimed at assisting Ukrainian advertising businesses in broadening their international presence, offering services to foreign clients, and promoting Ukrainian products and services in other countries,” stated Maksym Lazebnyk, the General Director of the Ukrainian Advertising Association.
The website aggregates essential data about country profiles and advertising market parameters, crucial for strategizing international marketing efforts.
Currently, the website offers general information such as population, area, GDP, and more, along with core data about advertising markets in over 15 countries.
The Ukrainian Advertising Association added that the information is continuously updated, and the list of countries will expand.
“The collaboration between the Ukrainian Advertising Association and NCG enables Ukrainian businesses to access information for navigating the specifics of advertising communications in different countries,” noted Dmytro Kutovyi, the founder and CEO of NCG.
The Foreign Markets Access website provides information spanning the past few years, enabling the tracking of market and regional trends. Information sources include international platforms like WARC, the World Bank, the United Nations, and others.
By the conclusion of 2022, Ukraine’s advertising media market had contracted by approximately two-thirds of its volume, equivalent to 20.8 billion hryvnias ($563 million), excluding inflationary processes.
