McDonald’s Ukraine company, developing a chain of McDonald’s fast-food restaurants in Ukraine, opened its first restaurant in Chernivtsi on July 1, the company’s press service reported.
Restaurant will be located on Heroiv Maidanu street, 184, and features an area of over 605 square meters, has 175 seats in the hall, and 136 on the terrace, the company said.
12 self-service digital terminals are installed in the hall, table service is also available. The drivers can place their orders at McDrive. McDelivery will also be available a few weeks after opening.
The restaurant’s working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., McDrive will work from 5:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The restaurant will operate under enhanced safety rules. It will close during the air raid alert to allow workers and visitors to move to the nearest shelter, and will reopen approximately one hour after the alert is lifted.
The restaurant in Chernivtsi is the first McDonald’s to open in Ukraine in 2024. In general, the plan for 2024 envisages the opening of six restaurants.
McDonald’s chain had 109 restaurants in 24 cities of Ukraine before Feb. 24, 2022. The company began gradual reopening on Sept. 20, 2022. 101 restaurants are operating as of June 2024, the network has 118 restaurants in total.
